Eligibility and Registration

The fair is open to all UG and PG students who are enrolled in any course of University of Delhi. Registration is completely free of charge and can be completed online at dsw.du.ac.in. But students are advised to complete the registration as soon as possible. As the University has already mentioned that seat is limited, after 4000 registrations they won’t be accepting any other candidate.

Event Details

The Internship and Placement Fair will be held at the Office of Dean Student’s Welfare, Conference Centre (North Campus), located opposite the Botany Department at Gate Number 4.  Students who have registered should report by 9:00 a.m. there on both days. The program will officially begin at 10:00 a.m.

Preparation Tips

To secure an internship offer or a job offer, students are advised to come prepared. It is very important to prepare yourself for such an esteemed event. Students should bring multiple copies of their CVs. Make sure that your CV highlights your academic achievements, relevant skills, and any previous work experience. If possible practice for interviews beforehand. You can watch some videos over the internet to get an idea of the interview.

This is also the highest ever pay package any FMS student has ever received. The institute which had as many as 210 students this year also have a 100 per cent placement record.

As per the report, the highest domestic pay package in the FMS, which recorded 100 per cent placement this year, stood at Rs. 66 lakh per annum – Rs. 31 lakh more than last year.

The average pay package this year was Rs. 20.5 lakh, an increase of 20 per cent from the previous one.

Around 210 students participated in the placements session this year. Majority of the students got through in consulting roles as companies like EY Consulting, Accenturre Strategy, Star India and ITC were among the recruiters.

FMS sees the participation of some of the top international and Indian companies in its annual placement drive.

The companies that recruited from FMS in sales and marketing included Adobe, Coca-Cola, GAIL, Heinz, HT Media, Microsoft, Nestle, and PepsiCo.

American Express, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered, Trident Group, Vodafone and Yes Bank were among the firms that recruited candidates from FMS for finance roles.
